Still Good Food is a local independent charity working to reduce food waste. They do this by redistributing surplus food and food up to and beyond its Best Before Date, but that is still good to eat, from supermarkets and other local retailers, producers and growers, through their shop in Bury St Edmunds on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis. This helps to combat food waste but also helps to support many low-income families as they can access good food for a small donation.
Originally focused on young people not in education, employment, or training, CatZero now supports all ages across the Humber. Using their yacht as a unique space for engagement, they run flexible programmes that build confidence, offer guidance, and support families facing challenges, helping individuals and communities improve their lives.
One of the Matthew Good Foundation’s aims is to promote safety and best practices in race medicine following Matthew’s death. In our latest Race Medicine project we have now funded the launch of Race Ready Run CIC, which has developed the Race Ready app, offering free expert content on medical issues for runners.

OncoMove CIC is a new London-based initiative providing free, clinically guided cancer rehabilitation through accessible online exercise programmes. Founded to address major inequalities in cancer recovery, OncoMove supports people who face barriers to traditional services, including fatigue, immune suppression, mobility issues, or lack of transport. With pilots now underway in Barnet and Greenwich, the charity aims to help people feel stronger, more confident, and better supported as they navigate life during and after cancer.
Unseen Victims CIC is a UK-based, community-led organisation supporting families affected by a loved-one’s arrest, imprisonment, or interaction with the criminal justice system. They provide emotional support, practical guidance, and advocacy, helping families navigate stigma and isolation. Through peer support networks, national awareness campaigns, and a new employer workshop, the charity ensures these often-overlooked families receive dignity, understanding, and practical help when they need it most.
Founded by SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) parents, Ella Support Loop is a newly launched, UK-based CIC. They use innovative, AI-powered technology to make SEND guidance clearer and more accessible for families. Co-created with parents, educators, charities, and local authorities, Ella delivers trusted, localised information that simplifies complex processes and reduces stress. With a vision for a kinder, fairer SEND system, they’re already supporting families and professionals through an early pilot in schools and local authority settings.
The Civet Project is a UK-based conservation charity protecting civets, a small cat-like carnivore found in Asia, their habitats, and the people who share these environments. They tackle the cruel and risky trade driven by “civet coffee,” a luxury drink made from civets’ droppings. Through research, education, and community engagement, they reduce exploitation, protect communities from health risks, and work toward sustainable futures for people, wildlife, and the planet.
Domestic abuse affects 1.7 million women in the UK each year, leaving long-lasting emotional, psychological, and physical scars. For many survivors, traditional therapy alone isn’t enough to rebuild confidence, reconnect with their bodies, or overcome trauma-related anxiety, disassociation, and isolation. Fight Forward was founded to change that. Created by GB Boxer and Gold Medallist Lesley Sackey, the organisation uses the healing power of boxing to support survivors in reclaiming strength, autonomy, and hope.
Wildlings is a nature-focused early years setting that combines indoor and outdoor learning to support children’s development. Set across a bright hall and ancient woodland, it provides a safe space where children can explore, play, and grow at their own pace. The setting’s ethos encourages curiosity, resilience, and care for the natural world, creating a collaborative community that benefits children and the planet alike.
Pathways is Chesterfield’s primary centre for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their home. The service provides housing advice and support, access to essential services, mentoring, and activities to support wellbeing. Each year, Pathways helps around 880 people in need, including around 280 individuals who secure housing, leaving a lasting impact on the local community. The centre combines practical support with empowerment, ensuring people get the help they need while building confidence and independence.
R;pple Suicide Prevention
R;pple Suicide Prevention was founded by Alice Hendy who lost her only sibling, Josh in 2020 to suicide at 21 years old. Josh had been researching techniques to take his own life via harmful internet searches. With a background in cyber technology and security, Alice saw an opportunity to intercept this harmful content.
Tigers4Ever
Tigers4Ever is a small UK registered charity run by a board of volunteer Trustees who donate their time to help give wild tigers a wild future. This small charity operates in Bandhavgarh National Park in India. It implements community-focused tiger conservation projects such as anti-poaching patrols, educational programmes and the creation of new safe, permanent waterholes for tigers and other wild animals whose natural water sources have been affected by climate change.
Friends of Garrowby Orchard
When the site that the Friends of Garrowby Orchard look after was handed into the care of local residents, they began to do something quite extraordinary. They spoke with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, and under their guidance set about transforming a mundane bit of land into an oasis for both people and wildlife.
High Peak Homeless Help
High Peak Homeless Help exists to assist homeless people, those experiencing housing-related issues, and address the root causes of homelessness in their area. They support people in and around High Peak and the Peak District, including people who come into their area from the surrounding cities.
Apple Tree Farm
Apple Tree Farm is a care farm based in North Devon, offering educational and therapeutic sessions for children and young people with disabilities and special needs. It was created by Brenda and her husband when they discovered firsthand how beneficial animals could be for children and young people with additional needs.

Freely Fruity
A group of volunteers that got together in March 2020 after realising the demand for fresh food within the local food banks was growing daily. They started to grow from seed fresh fruit and vegetables to supply the local food banks and schools projects within Reading and Wokingham area and want to expand to other areas across the UK.

Mind Moves
Mind Moves is a mobile mentoring service based in Merseyside, taking place from a car, or on a walk – literally, while on the move, aimed at supporting people with their mental and physical health and guidance around better decision making. It is a referral service, aimed at supporting people from 11 years to adults who need a little extra support or guidance.
