Founded by SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) parents, Ella Support Loop is a newly launched, UK-based CIC. They use innovative, AI-powered technology to make SEND guidance clearer and more accessible for families. Co-created with parents, educators, charities, and local authorities, Ella delivers trusted, localised information that simplifies complex processes and reduces stress. With a vision for a kinder, fairer SEND system, they’re already supporting families and professionals through an early pilot in schools and local authority settings.
Apple Tree Farm is a care farm based in North Devon, offering educational and therapeutic sessions for children and young people with disabilities and special needs. It was created by Brenda and her husband when they discovered firsthand how beneficial animals could be for children and young people with additional needs.
High Peak Homeless Help exists to assist homeless people, those experiencing housing-related issues, and address the root causes of homelessness in their area. They support people in and around High Peak and the Peak District, including people who come into their area from the surrounding cities.
When the site that the Friends of Garrowby Orchard look after was handed into the care of local residents, they began to do something quite extraordinary. They spoke with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, and under their guidance set about transforming a mundane bit of land into an oasis for both people and wildlife.
Tigers4Ever is a small UK registered charity run by a board of volunteer Trustees who donate their time to help give wild tigers a wild future. This small charity operates in Bandhavgarh National Park in India. It implements community-focused tiger conservation projects such as anti-poaching patrols, educational programmes and the creation of new safe, permanent waterholes for tigers and other wild animals whose natural water sources have been affected by climate change.
R;pple Suicide Prevention was founded by Alice Hendy who lost her only sibling, Josh in 2020 to suicide at 21 years old. Josh had been researching techniques to take his own life via harmful internet searches. With a background in cyber technology and security, Alice saw an opportunity to intercept this harmful content.
Still Good Food is a local independent charity working to reduce food waste. They do this by redistributing surplus food and food up to and beyond its Best Before Date, but that is still good to eat, from supermarkets and other local retailers, producers and growers, through their shop in Bury St Edmunds on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis. This helps to combat food waste but also helps to support many low-income families as they can access good food for a small donation.
Tulgey Woods Sanctuary is a 10-acre wildlife haven situated in the city centre of Plymouth. The land was earmarked for 125 houses but has now been saved and is run as a project to increase biodiversity and to educate people about how they can give nature a boost.
Welcome to English was created by Karen van Diesen to help newcomers to Hull (mostly refugees and asylum seekers) to practise English, make new friends and find out more about living in Hull. They achieve this with the help of around 35 befriender volunteers, most of whom are qualified teachers. In the last 4 years, they have helped around 800 learners to speak English, learn about life in the UK and help them to adapt and become part of the local community.
Founded 8 years ago, Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club gives disabled people who use a wheelchair or powerchair, the chance to play powerchair football at either a social or competitive level. This allows physically disabled people to play a fast-paced team game, something that most of its members have never been able to do. Most of the club’s members are people that can’t physically play sports like wheelchair basketball and struggle to find a team sport they can take part in independently.
ShowerBox was founded by Sarah Lamptey. While volunteering for various homeless organisations, Sarah learned of the huge need for showers in London and set about working out what she could do to help. After a successful fundraising campaign, Sarah was able to buy a trailer and convert it into a mobile shower unit, which has been operating in London ever since. Wanting to help more people around the UK, ShowerBox is now looking to expand in other UK cities such as Birmingham and Manchester.
Unseen Victims
Unseen Victims CIC is a UK-based, community-led organisation supporting families affected by a loved-one’s arrest, imprisonment, or interaction with the criminal justice system. They provide emotional support, practical guidance, and advocacy, helping families navigate stigma and isolation. Through peer support networks, national awareness campaigns, and a new employer workshop, the charity ensures these often-overlooked families receive dignity, understanding, and practical help when they need it most.
OncoMove
OncoMove CIC is a new London-based initiative providing free, clinically guided cancer rehabilitation through accessible online exercise programmes. Founded to address major inequalities in cancer recovery, OncoMove supports people who face barriers to traditional services, including fatigue, immune suppression, mobility issues, or lack of transport. With pilots now underway in Barnet and Greenwich, the charity aims to help people feel stronger, more confident, and better supported as they navigate life during and after cancer.

Race Ready
One of the Matthew Good Foundation’s aims is to promote safety and best practices in race medicine following Matthew’s death. In our latest Race Medicine project we have now funded the launch of Race Ready Run CIC, which has developed the Race Ready app, offering free expert content on medical issues for runners.
CatZero
Originally focused on young people not in education, employment, or training, CatZero now supports all ages across the Humber. Using their yacht as a unique space for engagement, they run flexible programmes that build confidence, offer guidance, and support families facing challenges, helping individuals and communities improve their lives.
Holderness Hedgehog Hospital
Holderness Hedgehog Hospital in East Yorkshire is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing sick or injured hedgehogs. The volunteer-led charity combines hands-on care with community education to protect local wildlife. Each year, the team responds to dozens of emergency rescues while inspiring local residents to take an active role in conservation. With new funding, the charity can expand its capacity and improve conditions for these much-loved animals.
Worldwide Deaf Gym
Worldwide Deaf Gym is a deaf-led organisation making fitness more accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing people across the UK. Their work has two goals: to ensure deaf people can enjoy equal access to fitness and wellbeing services, and to create career opportunities by training deaf personal trainers to lead the change. With deaf PTs at its heart, WDG is breaking down barriers in the fitness industry and creating inclusive spaces where people can connect, get active, and thrive.
Respected
In today’s climate of online pressures, misinformation, and harmful influences, young people face real risks in relationships and online. Respected equips 11–16 year olds to make informed, healthy choices about relationships and sex. Founded by a GP from Dorset, the programme blends short films with class activities so teachers nationally can deliver engaging, compliant RSE with confidence.
Paws & Pause
Paws & Pause Training CIC is an innovative London-based social enterprise turning the unconditional love of dogs into a stepping-stone for people recovering from mental ill-health or substance use. Their “Paws to Employability” programme provides 6-month traineeships where participants gain life changing skills and confidence in dog care, plus CV writing, interview, job search, teamwork and communication skills. People learn how to become part of a thriving team again, and are set up for long term success in a job they feel empowered to excel in.
