Andy Sison from Good Travel ran the 2013
London Marathon and raised money for the National Gulf Veterans and Families Association! A very good cause indeed. Recently Andy discovered that Steve Mackerman, also from the Hull office, actually served in the Gulf War and advised Andy that the National Gulf Veterans and Families Association required a runner to run and
raise money for them.
Andy said “I have been overwhelmed by the amount of people who have told me of someone they know, whether it be a friend or family member, who have served in one the Gulf
wars. After personally seeing courage of stories of service personnel who have developed illnesses after returning from both Gulf war’s on TV or in the press, I was be honoured to raise money for this charity”.
Andy raised over £700 and the Foundation was proud to match this!
