A group of employees at John Good Group Maritime companies – Arthur Smith and DAN Shipping – have banded together to nominate Women’s Aid Northeast Lincolnshire for grants worth £6,500 pounds, through the John Good Group Employee Giving Programme.
A recent employee giving application has demonstrated how the Matthew Good Foundation helps the John Good Group to increase their community impact, not just by issuing grants, but by leveraging the Foundation’s network & expertise to deliver higher value outcomes, for employees, charities, and businesses alike.
The money raised will be split between three charities important to Adam – Matthew Good Foundation, Sailors Children’s Society and Leeds hospital charity.
A donation of £1000 was made through the Group’s employee giving programme, and will help the Carnegie Heritage Centre to pay for a World War Two-era Ship Register to be restored.
Having recently launched the ‘Space to Grow’ appeal to fund facilities at the expanding Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Hull Royal Infirmary, WISHH charity has attracted Champion Grants from a number of John Good Group employees, totalling £2,000.
