With the cold weather drawing in, it’s hard not to think about the people who have nowhere to shelter, no food to eat and nowhere to sleep. With this in mind, colleagues in Manchester decided they wanted to help in some way.
A Manchester charity, the Booth Centre, that helps the homeless by providing food, a hot drink, a place to shower, help with housing and finding work, was appealing for specific items so employees had a collection to raise funds and took to the shops to buy some of the necessities.
Hopefully, the donations will go a long way and with the Matthew Good Foundation donation double match funding, this will bring the total donation to £170.00!
