In February, the Foundation donated £500 to the Friends of Hull General Cemetery (FOHGC). The £500 was used to purchase a new Power Scythe that will be invaluable in helping the volunteers clear glades in the cemetery to encourage new plant growth and wildlife.
The FOHGC are extremely grateful for the Foundation’s donation, the FOHGC said, “We hope that the new ‘acquisition’ will in some way keep Matthew’s memory alive. A big thank you to the Matthew Good Foundation and the John Good Group of Companies from all of The Friends of Hull General Cemetery.”
The FOHGC has kindly added the Foundation’s name to the Power Scythe, it’s just a lucky coincidence that it happens to be orange too!
