Matthew Good Foundation is a grant-giving charity. It’s an exciting time of growth and we are looking for three committed and motivated individuals to join our Board of trustees to help lead our charitable Foundation through this exciting period.
At the Matthew Good Foundation, our mission is to support small charitable organisations to amplify their impact, and we work with a range of businesses, stakeholders and individuals, partnering them with small, innovative nonprofits to deliver positive social impact.
We were created and are funded by the John Good Group, a 190-year-old 6th-generation family business passionate about its social impact. Over the past 12 years, we have donated over £1m in grants, funding over 500 nonprofit organisations. We work with businesses and individuals to help them direct much-needed funding to small nonprofit organisations in a meaningful way.
We’re looking for three new trustees to create a dynamic board engaged with the next phase of our journey. You will need a high level of personal integrity and passion for our work in amplifying small nonprofits.
We’re keen for our offering to evolve, and you’ll play a crucial part in improving what we do by supporting and challenging the Executive Team to ensure we maximise our impact.
