Two recent project championing bids put forward by Kevin Harrison of Good Travel Management have benefitted both a local youth group and a charitable foundation. Kevin presented the cheques recently to:
“Send a Child to School” (SACTS) Charity. SACTS is a registered charity in England and Wales (1164946). Our main aim is to improve children’s education and welfare in Sierra Leone and Malawi.
In March 2017, three Trustees from the charity will be visiting Freetown Sierra Leone to monitor, evaluate and support the project. The trip will help the trustees to see the work of SACTS on the ground and to evaluate the impact of this work on the children, their schools, their communities and their families. While in Freetown, the team will also support the SACTS Sierra Leone volunteers by way of sharing their experience in charity administration and accounting.

Kevin Harrison and the team at Hedon Methodist Youth Club support SACTS through fund raising, educational nights and collecting school items and sweets to send to the pupils supported by SACTS in Sierra Leone and Malawi. Recently they were presented with a cheque for £500 by the Matthew Good Foundation.
