Turning Corners (formerly Recycling Unlimited CIC) provides woodworking and recycling-based activity sessions for people recovering from mental health difficulties. In their professional workshop in Hull, clients referred from a range of local services learn woodworking and upcycling skills while producing beautiful, practical goods from materials donated by local businesses.
The sale of these recycled products in their factory shop directly funds the service, creating a self-sustaining model where every item sold supports mental health recovery, diverts waste from landfill, and strengthens the local community.
Discover their story and how they help local people in this film, funded by the Matthew Good Foundation and produced by Big Picture Charity Films.
