Babbington Dog Rescue, founded in 1993, has spent over three decades providing a safe haven for stray and abandoned dogs in Nottingham. With a non-destruction policy at its core, the rescue centre has rehomed nearly 10,000 dogs, averaging over 600 successful adoptions each year. This achievement reflects their strong commitment to ensuring every dog finds a loving, permanent home.
Funding for Babbington Rescue is a true community effort. While income from boarding kennels helps sustain their work, public donations are vital to their mission. These funds cover essential costs such as vaccinations, spaying and neutering, microchipping, vet care, and everyday needs like food, bedding, and heating. Dedicated volunteers further strengthen their impact by conducting home checks, ensuring that each dog’s new environment is safe and suitable.
Babbington Rescue’s work has made a real difference for thousands of dogs, and their commitment to canine welfare remains strong. The Minorfern Foundation is proud to support their efforts and help them continue this important work for dogs in need.
