Matthew Good Foundation Provides Funding to ‘The Junction’ Community Project

We are delighted to announce that the Matthew Good Foundation has awarded a grant of £6,000 over 3 years to ‘The Junction’, a community project at Hedon Methodist Church, to support and develop its community outreach. The funding will help to provide a programme of activities for all those attending The Junction every Thursday, training for volunteers in Dementia Awareness, support the costs of sessional workers and help towards a plan to appoint an administrator.

We were delighted to visit The Junction and see the benefits for ourselves, the atmosphere was infectious and it was lovely to see so many people enjoying an afternoon together.

The cheque was presented by Michelle Taft, the Head of The Matthew Good Foundation and Kevin Harrison, Trustee, and presented to Geoff Langley who heads up The Junction’s team of volunteers.
