Back in July, the Matthew Good Foundation was pleased to donate £500 to Helping Yorkshire Poundies (HYPS), following a nomination by Joanne Miller. Joanne learnt about HYPS when her friend adopted a dog named Harry.
HYPS is a small dog rescue, run entirely by volunteers who all work tirelessly to save and care for stray and abandoned dogs from across Yorkshire and beyond. Despite their small size, HYPS does extensive work and have rehomed hundreds of dogs since it was founded in 2012.
The £500 grant will be used towards upgrading their kennels and run area to ensure that all their dogs enjoy a safe and comfortable environment as they wait for their forever homes.
