Founded by two friends during their own breast cancer treatment, HER Breast Friends was created on the belief that something positive can come from the experience—and that no one should face it alone.
They offer wellbeing workshops, outreach packs for those newly diagnosed, and a welcoming community hub that supports people to move forward with confidence.
To help share their work with funders and new service users, we’ve funded a short film featuring their brand new city centre premises in Hull, which opened earlier this year.
HER Breast Friends continues to receive support from the Matthew Good Foundation through nominations and volunteer efforts from John Good Group employees.
