Clean Ocean Sailing are on a mission to remove marine pollution from the hard-to-reach parts of our shores, doing so sustainably under the sail power of a restored schooner, The Annette, whilst raising awareness about ocean plastics.
Downright Special is a Hull-based charity whose aim is to build a brighter future for children with Down Syndrome by assisting in all aspects of their care and education across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We work closely with a UK Charity / UN recognised NGO called Reef World Foundation on various projects that they spearhead around the world to help protect coral and marine environments. Below are some of the projects we have supported.
CatZero is a Humber-wide charity committed to making a lasting positive and personal change in the lives of children, young people, families, and adults.
Scotland’s landscape, whilst impressive and what many would use as an example of a healthy landscape, is anything but. Compared to what it was only a few hundred years ago, it is devoid of life. Devastated boggy grassland and treeless moors stretching beyond the horizon has become the dominant land type.
National Park Rescue works to protect African national parks at risk due to the poaching of wildlife. They work on the ground with locally recruited people to restore law enforcement and tackle corruption where it is affecting a park’s long-term survival.
This project focuses on bringing local & foreign specialists together at the heart of conservation in Africa, giving them the skills and support they need to be effective on the ground. In short, we’re helping to build real leaders in a continent that desperately needs it.
Mires Beck is a registered charity attached to a working nursery and conservation site in East Yorkshire, providing work experience and social therapeutic horticulture for adults who live with the challenges of learning difficulties, Autism and physical disabilities.
By supporting the work of the Inga Foundation we can alleviate poverty and improve the environment, by supporting farmers to take up an alternative sustainable farming technique.
We support an NGO who aims to setup trading cooperatives within the Congo which add value for products that the Pygmy people collect.
