Foundation News: London Marathon

NEWS SHOT / LONDON MARATHON
Tim Good and Dr Stephen Mears, from Loughborough University, attended the 2014 London Marathon and its preceding events to observe their medical practices. Steve is leading a research project to discover the best medical practices at the largest and most professionally run marathons in the world. Our Foundation is funding this research for one year with the hope of allowing the International Institute for Race Medicine access to the results. They will then use the information and help smaller races benefit from the knowledge of the larger events and improve safety. For more photos and info see:
