For those of you who are not familiar with the Lucky 13 – JGS Manchester run a monthly draw whereby each individual donates £5 into a prize pot – The draw is then held on the 3rd Friday of each month. £3 of each £5 lines the winner pockets, the remaining £2 of each £5 is donated to a charity of the winners choice – This amount is then match funded by the Matthew Good Foundation.
The Trustees and Reps of the Foundation have decided, for March, to do
double funding! So the same guidelines apply but you basically can get twice the amount. This applies to both Match Funding and Project Championing. If you need a reminder of how each works then see your office Foundation Rep or visit the foundation website where a run down of each application available can be found https://www.matthewgoodfoundation.org/
This applies to any applications made in March and then the money must be raised or donated by the end of May.
Example: You apply to the Foundation in March to hold a raffle to raise money for a good cause. The Raffle takes place on April 15th and raised £750. We give you £1500 making the total raised £2250!
