The Clothing Bank
The Clothing Bank supports anyone who is in need of help. They aim to provide seven days of clothing plus seven days of new underwear to people who are struggling.
From people fleeing domestic abuse, to those who have been made redundant as well as people who are working but after everyday expenses can’t afford to purchase clothing, The Clothing Bank works with students, the homeless, the elderly, families and anyone who needs support. They work closely with organisations such as IDAS, social services, schools, colleges and saviours trust, just to name a few.
The Clothing Bank believes that everyone deserves the right to be able to have good quality clothing and this in itself helps people to feel accepted, have confidence and helps them move on in life. Once under The Clothing Banks’ wing, they are always there to support them. People can message The Clothing Bank through private messenger telephone or email, everything is dealt with in a friendly and professional, confidential manner.
Funding from the Mathew Good Foundation will be used to purchase items that they don’t typically get donated such as leggings, joggers and underwear. It will also mean they will be able to post items out to referrals further afield.
