In memory of Matthew Good, John Good & Sons Ltd has decided to change the name of the annual prize which they award to the candidate in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) examinations with the highest marks in the foundation paper on Liner Shipping. This prize will now be called The Matthew Good Memorial Award and was won this year by Mr K N Ndoro of the Kenya Ports Authority. It was presented to his representative at the annual prize giving ceremony at Trinity House, London on September 22nd by John A Good.
The ICS hold their examinations annually at different centres around the world. Matthew completed his examinations in 2008 and was elected as a fellow to the Institute in 2010.
